Gotta disagree about "Hairspray."
It was a spirited fun adaptation of the Bway show, and I thought Travolta pulled it off. It was not a bad vehicle for Zac Efron, and any musical with Queen Latifah CANNOT be dismissed, ever.
It also made money at the box office. No small feat nowadays. |
