Yeah. It exploded. She had just gotten out of rehab and it was the first time she played with that lyric.
But if memory serves, the place exploded several times.
Seeing and hearing "I Happen to Like New York" was sublime. I was not familiar with that tune until I saw this show. What a clever way to open this engagement. (RIP, Fred Ebb) |
