I love how the columnist makes the whole thing about the perils of the passive voice. The Philadelphia Inquirer charms me often.

The head of the Walnut Theater, which the gadfly Pinchbeck has apparently stung, lists his family's artistic lineage and their royal patrons in his bio (Kings Leopold of Belgium - the second Leopold presiding over one of the largest genocides in history).
