Again???
Compared to a good many shows, The Music Man hasn't actually been revived often at all. There was the ill-fated very short run with Dick Van Dyke in 1980, and there was the much more successful Stroman revival in 2000 - and that's it. So if after 21 years you're eeyoring "again," maybe you need to get out more? :-)
Meanwhile, since 2004, we've seen TWO major revivals of La Cage Aux Folles, which I know has its fans, but I consider to be a far, far inferior show in terms of its craft. Just putting that out there. |
