| I believe the Ethel Mirman CD of gypsy is the best recording. Her voice is quite thrilling end The sound of the recording has a forward immediacy to it. Funny that on my iPod one of the songs came up with Ethel singing and then the same song came up with Patti and Ethel is the champ and her singing shows that she did have acting skills. Everyone should have the original recording and it is too bad that she did not star in the movie version. |
