| I travel a lot, domestically and internationally, and I think the US is generally cheaper than many/most places that are on the same sort of cultural landscape. Of course, there are poor or economically messed-up countries, and of course lots of places can't rival NYC for prices in peak times, but in general I do not think this is a major factor for the typical tourist. Also of course, things vary based on exchange rates, at least until everyone starts accepting crypto. |
