Oh OK. Yeah, I remember when the original production was headed for Broadway, one of the acts was cut. George C. Scott and Maureen Stapleton played the 3 couples and the show was a solid hit.

A year later Simon used the cut act as the basis for The Out of Towners film, which was painfully unfunny and went on forever.

I would like to see Plaza Suite with Broderick and Parker, but I'm not going to pay anything outrageous for tickets. Neither one has ever been much of a draw in theatre, but you're right that seeing them together makes the show something of an event. Plus Parker is so well known now because of Sex and the City. I'll gamble and wait for discounts.
