One whole episode that "took aim" at Trump in five years? That's exactly what I'm talking about. And how many did they do in all those years about George Bush, Dick Cheney, etc.? Can't remember any -- of course, they were too busy savaging those truly dangerous people, Barbra Streisand and Janeane Garofalo.
The "equal opportunity offenders" defense is BS because 1) they DON'T dole out their attacks equally (see above examples) and 2) Not everyone is equally deserving of being offended. Do Trump or Bush or Cheney deserve as much as Streisand or Garofalo? Or to stay within the context of their Book of Mormon show, are poor African villagers equally deserving as Mormon Church dogma?
Let me know when you find a libertarian who comes down on the Democratic side if asked to choose. |
