... I don't give a shit about Phylicia Rashad's career.
There are plenty of ways to express regret for a friend's actions without resorting to "a miscarriage of justice" and "orchestrated" and "forget these women." As for instance:
"The disgraceful news has appalled those of us whose work he championed, and those whose good and worthy causes he supported. One thing can be clarified: not everybody knew."
That was Meryl Streep on Harvey Weinstein.
Perhaps Rashad will be fine, and MTC will have no trouble selling tickets to her show. But if not, I won't lose any sleep. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. |
