| That's beautifully put. It reminds me that I do hope one thing that comes out of this complicated era we're in is art that helps us make sense of it: Is it possible to be a friend to someone who does horrible things and, if so, how do you navigate that? Can you remain engaged with people whose very beliefs seem to negate you? That kind of thing. (I know these questions are not new but they seem especially urgent and they remind me how much I wish I could see the Ann Dowd "Enemy of the People") |
