| Except it wasn't one comment. Read my post. She's made unkind and insensitive comments in the past about the victims going all the way back to at least 2015. So, she's had six years to think about how to respond to the Cosby rape charges and she's grown even more offensive and insensitive in her responses. It's not *just* that she sided with Cosby, it's that she went further than that by trying to discredit the women. At one point, she said these women were ruining a legacy. How out of touch must she be to make such a comment? How dare these rape victims tarnish a legacy. For six years, she made offensive remarks and remained unscathed. After those six years, she doubled down on her comments. She didn't have to tweet yesterday. I doubt anyone was twisting her arm. She chose to not just tweet but gloat and once again acted completely insensitive to the 60 victims This time, she might actually see negative effects from her remarks. So, yeah, after six years, I do think the backlash she finally got was a long time coming. |
