| I wrote the music for What About Luv? At first, Murray Schisgal wouldn’t allow us to use that spelling, as he was afraid it would hurt the stock and amateur rights for his show. Eventually, some time after the show closed, he relented. That is why it was originally called Love. The musical has been done all over the USA as well as London and Tokyo. It was also done at the York with Judy Kaye, Austin Pendleton and David Green. So, in spite of it’s short run in NYC, it’s had a pretty good life. |
