| I can't speak to the acting side of things, but you'd be surprised how many shows get produced without key creatives having signed their contracts. Often, people are negotiating well into the rehearsal process. And some shows at non-profits have their entire run and the contract never gets signed by the writer. Presumably, because she's on an Equity contract, there isn't as much to be negotiated, but I wouldn't say it's impossible. |
