So you don't support cancel culture, but you won't go see "MJ" because you don't want to give his estate your money, which is another way of saying you've cancelled him.

No, it's not. The use of the world "cancel" has gotten way way way out of hand. If you don't support someone, it does not mean they or anyone else is "cancelling" them. It didn't mean that before this word was appropriated, and it doesn't mean it now. It's an oh-so-convenient little bit of political semantics, but it means NOTHING. We need to stop saying it.
