I've been listening to the new London Cast Recording of Amelie and I REALLY like it. I found the Broadway Cast kind of boring. It just didn't hold my attention. But even the songs I didn't like are more interesting on the London Recording. And the new songs are GREAT! Will this new version make its way back to the States? I'd love to see it. Or maybe even suggest it for production at my university.
Has anyone seen both versions? Can you talk about differences in staging/story telling? I'm very curious...:) |
