I can't believe the coincidence re Yankee Doodle Dandy. I grew up in the NYC TV area, and there used to be a show way back called Million Dollar Movie. They'd have the same film on about three times a day, for a week at a time (my memory may be faulty here), but I do remember watching the film as a kid over and over and over, for many years. Last night, as I heard some of the music of the Fourth, I decided to see if the film was available on a streaming service and didn't see it. And now this. My DVR will be set to record. Thanks, Wayman.
