Your memory is pretty good. It was Channel 9 and opened with "Tara's Theme." It was a nice baby-sitter for me. I remember things like Without Reservations and Buck Privates (could they have really cost a million dollars?). But Yankee Doodle Dandy and One Touch of Venus come to mind as theater-related movies.

As a kid, I loved the repetition, but I think my mother would get the shakes when she heard "Tara's Theme" for the 50th time in a month.
