Thanks, but the link says that ''The Music Man'' won the Golden Globe for Best Musical, but Preston and Jones did not win for their work. Also, the Globes nominated Willson for Original Score (which he lost), but Ray Heindorf won the Academy Award for his musical adaptation. As for that WGA Award for Best Written Musical, that prize was discontinued in 1968, probably due to the declining number of movie musicals. But if there were ever a year to bring it back, this would be it: ''In the Heights,'' ''West Side Story,'' ''Dear Evan Hansen,'' ''tick, tick, BOOM'' ...
