1980 is the same year that Hulce's film ''Those Lips, Those Eyes'' came out. Could he have left ''Johnny Jones'' for more movie work?
If Eric Weitz was his replacement, it looks like he took over the role, so he was filmed doing it for ''Broadway on Showtime.''
And I wondered the same thing about Cassidy. Was he replaced because the producers thought Osmond was a bigger name for Broadway? |
