I heard that there was also a song that Franklin sang to one of the ladies of ill repute. On last Sunday's Broadway Radio podcast, there was a detailed discussion about the scene in 1776 that took place in New Brunswick with Adams, Franklin, the soldiers, and the ladies. Apparently both songs were not very good.
