My pleasure. I have done significant research into smallpox epidemics in history, and this stuck with me because the historical research overlapped with the musical theatre obsession. :)
To give John some credit, he must have been going mad, knowing his loved ones were in such danger, and unable to do a damn thing. I think we all experience something of that feeling this past year, hunkered down in our houses, hoping we all survived.
