Are you sure about that? "We'll Meet Tomorrow" is the last portion of the lifeboat sequence, but that's hardly the end of the show - way before the ship actually sinks.
I tend to think you're referring to the final scene, which was drastically changed in previews - what's interesting is that the music now used as exit music after the bows was originally the show's finale (i.e. before the bows). I don't remember that there was a lot of dialogue there, but there could have been (but there was very little singing if at all). But all of that was rewritten to include the reprise of "Godspeed Titanic" to close the show. |
