There is a booklet that comes with the scripts and orchestrations when you do a production.
It says things like Cassie knows Sheila and Greg etc. (in the film she seems to know Connie but I don't know if that is in the play.)
Mike is made to appear straight in the film. He has a near kiss with Bebe during Surprise, Surprise. (Richie in the film confused me as a kid. He seemed gay yet talked about Paulette. Brilliant dancer though.) |
