When it comes to eventual award nominations, "West Side Story" already had its official opening. So the season for its awards is already a done deal. Right?
It's not like producers could choose to keep it on ice for another year, then expect it to compete for Tonys later and pretend they weren't already open. (I guess stranger things have happened, but that would be among the weirdest in in Tony history.) |
