I doubt that tony committee would have just allowed one show in the category. I think acting is a little different with Tveit. I think revival would be combined so that WSS would have taken the Frankie and Johnny slot. Betrayal and soldiers play got solid reviews.

I agree. If ''West Side Story'' were eligible, the Tonys would've reverted to a single revival category, encompassing plays and musicals.

After all, that's how it was from 1977 to 1993. The Tonys only began have separate Best Play Revival and Best Musical Revival prizes in 1994.
