Faye has behaved miserably for many years but she can’t be blamed for the La La Land debacle at the Oscars. Warren Beatty sloughed off his responsibility and caused her to be the fall guy.
After just now re-watching the clip, I would say you're right about that -- my memory was that Faye took the card out of Beatty's hand when he hesitated, but in reality, he HANDED it to her. So I apologize for putting that shocking gaffe on her. That said, yes, she has indeed behaved miserably on many other occasions, and has received publicity for it :-( |
