| We have lost a Broadway legend. the old saying was you had not made it on Broadway till you had a wig made by Paul Huntley. the only Hair designer to receive a TONY award, for Hairspray and the body of his work |

| A legend indeed. When I saw this, I asked myself who besides Huntley could be considered the undisputed go-to person in their craft; I could not come up with any. Another thing about the pervasiveness of his services was revealed (to me at least) in one of the recent books about Mike Nichols. Huntley was the designer of Mike's intricate wig mirage. |

| fun fact about Paul he would do a chemo wig once a month for free he made one for a lady in his neighborhood. she asked what do I owe you and he said... just get well and stayed well a few months later she called Paul. told him to go to the corner of 82nd street and RSD an cross the street and look for his park bench she bought him a bench with his name plate on it so anytime time he walked his dogs he had his own bench to sit on... it made him so happy the sign said "In honor of Paul Huntley for his generosity of spirit" so go find that bench, take a moment, smile, and remember him |
