And let's be frank - whatever meaning "woke" and "cancel culture" had when the terms first started have been obliterated now - all they are now are nonsensical right-wing talking points, used exclusively as pejoratives. Any time one tries to have an actual discussion about something with the right, they just fire off terms like "woke" and "cancel" and "critical race theory" and "fake news" as if yelling that out will justify all their hate.
