The article does indeed recognize that the demand is, in general, soft and that some/many producers are worried. It's troubling. It's also troubling that smart people like Marks seem to be white-washing a lot of issues. That said, I don't view breakthrough infections as an issue. We've known all along that we are not eradicating the virus and that the focus is (as it should be) on eradicating hospitalizations and deaths. There were less than 350 people in the hospital in the entire state yesterday, and only one death. I am almost willing to bet a damn subscription to the Washington Post that none of them were vaccinated. To put that in perspective, there were a helluva lot more people in the hospital and dying from auto accidents. Let's ban cars. :-)
