I saw "Mary, Mary" during the Boston tryout. Yes, Reynolds was definitely a step down from Bel Geddes. Even though I am not a fan of heavy drama, I also saw "Silent Night, Lonely Night" with Bel Geddes and Henry Fonda.
Barbara Bel Geddes was superb in comedy and heavy drama. God bless her.
