...showering "Sweeney Todd" with attention and giving producers more reason to give us "Sunday in the Park with George", "Into the Woods", and "Passion"--which in turn inspired generations of theater makers and performers.
I think awards like these exist most usefully to encourage more excellence and more innovation in programming and to draw attention to things that should continue or we should have more of--so, please, nominate the hell out of "Hamilton", "...Utopia", and any other filmed show that has been done with care. |
