| Aren't at least some of the helicopters working in fact in an emergency situation (transport to medical facilities)? Or are all of these going over the park private or tour helicopters? | |

| because they don't seem to be in a hurry to be getting anywhere! I wouldn't want to be a patient in one of those things. Also, in Manhattan, we don't have too many emergency helicopters on a regular basis because ambulances make transport quick enough. |

| NYPD's helicopters seem to get pretty constant use, emergencies or not. They thunder back and forth over my house in Brooklyn several times a day, at least. (Their base is at Floyd Bennett Field, so I'm on their way to pretty much anywhere.) | |
