According to the current plan, from 16 August, workers who come into contact with someone who has Covid only have to self-isolate if they test positive themselves.
Of course, it's not hard to envision the consequences of "Freedom Day" preluding that from taking effect. I, too, would recommend not buying tickets until we see how this all shakes out.
