Sounds like a case of "Fine, then I'm taking my ball and going home!"
I think he expects this announcement to strike fear in the hearts of the Establishment. The only reaction can be a fearful apology from Downing Street (or the Palace) and complete capitulation to his version of reality. I think he believes this bold gambit will put an end to all the nonsense, and he can open the show and everything will be like 2019 again. |
