ALW is saying out loud what a LOT of folks are thinking and where a great backlash is brewing....

He is absolutely correct that the new rules actually make it virtually impossible for anyone to run a business. Besides his show (and others like HAIRSPRAY and PRINCE OF EGYPT), we have seen the temporary and immediate closures of everything from restaurants to train lines. This all down to the new system of checking-in with an app so you can be notified if someone at that establishment has tested positive when you were there. Getting 'pinged' means you have to self-isolate for 10 days, even if you have a negative test and even if you have been fully vaccinated. Thanks to this new 'pingdemic' as it is commonly known, everything has been thrown into chaos. You cannot really make plans to do anything whether it is booking a table at your local cafe, buying a ticket to a show or planning a vacation.
