People heard from Rick McKay on January 25, 2018. He was discovered dead in his apartment on January 29, 2018.
On January 25 of this year, one of his closest friends posted on Rick's Facebook page that it was the third anniversary of this death. I'm not sure if the exact date is still uncertain, but it was not before January 25, 2018.
