These were NOT "free" stuff.
FREE is getting something for nothing.

The rewards were promised for the pledges aka investments in this project.
People paid MONEY for them.
Hardly "free".

That's part of what an estate's executor does. And, yes, you should put in a claim sooner rather than later.
