| Anyone else obsessed with this production number from “Schmigadoon”? Part “Put Em Back.” Part “Brotherhood of Man.” Fun choreography by Chris Gatelli. Gonna watch it for the fourth time now! | |

| I've watched it many times, too. As I posted in another ''Schmigadoon'' thread, ''Cross That Bridge'' is my favorite number from that show (so far). Very Frank Loesser: A rousing, gospel-inspired tune reminiscent of ''Brotherhood of Man''/''Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat,'' with a soprano solo. (As with all the other ''Schmigadoon!'' songs, it's written by Cinco Paul, and this episode was penned by Julie Klausner and Bowen Yang.) |

| Another great episode. I loved the Bridge number, too, but want to give a shout out to Ann Harada as the Mayor’s wife, noting her hubby’s sentimental ways and how he never looks at other girl, concluding, “He’s a Queer One, that Man ‘O Mine.” The title may resemble one number in CAROUSEL, but the material is more like “What’s the Use of Wonderin’,” with maybe a bit of “Bill” from SHOW BOAT. I can’t wait for Kristin’s 18 page patter song and Jane K’s Cole Porter-style number. Laura, still without an AC and needing distraction |

| Laura, if you scroll down the board a little, there's an Ann Harada thread where I included a link to a TVLine interview with her. (Another meta joke: In ''Cross That Bridge,'' the gals sing the bridge is not ''a metaphor; oh, no, it's something more'' during the bridge of the song.) |

| Saw it. Wonderful interview with such a talented lady! I am loving every single line, even though the last episode was literally painful to watch. I got a new implant Wednesday and my face/jaw did not appreciate thirty minutes of laughing. But, oh, my soul needed it! Laura |

| I also very much like Aaron Tveit’s Billy Bigelow-type character. | |

| My problem with Tveit is that he’s always so serious. It was a problem for me in Grease. He never seems to be having fun. | |

| My favorite moment of a delightful episode: when Cecily Strong sets the record straight about the difference between stealing and taking. :-) | |
