I'm so curious about how this event came together. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow aren't a part of British culture, so their legend likely isn't well known to the majority of Brits. Neither Jordan nor Osnes has had a career in the UK. Even Wildhorn hasn't seen much success with his shows in the UK.
I wonder how a concert of a short-lived musical about Myra Hindley and Ian Brady by a composer who's never had a Broadway hit with a West End cast who'd also never played Broadway would go over in New York. |
