| You say Show Boat had less than thirty cast members. If you are referring to the 1927 original production, according to Miles Krueger who has written a book on the musical, in an article for the liner notes of the 1989 John McGlinn complete recording, the cast numbered in the 80s. I have to believe this figure since I wasn't even born when the show opened. |
