Well, I am a person, so there is, presumably, a basis for a conversation. But you miss my point entirely. I don't think I am being presumptuous when I say that this board exists only because of live theatre. Yet for the last 511 days we have had no live (Broadway at least) theatre. We have discussed a lot of things, including old shows, new diseases, lots of rules and regulations and protocols, bountiful streaming and zooming. Even films. The event to which I refer is not the particular show that commenced performance last night but the fact that there was one, live and in front of an audience; a shared experience that cannot be replicated by any other means than by everyone showing up. That, imo, should be cause for celebration or at least hopefulness. It wasn't, and that surprised me. Those feelings were evident at the block party after the show; I thought they would have been acknowledged here and I guess I was disappointed that they were not.
