What a remarkable interview! Thanks for posting it. I watched it last night on my TV via YouTube. It was fascinating and riveting.

Hickman's revelation about the Hollywood caste system for child actors was both shocking and illuminating. He was an incredibly gifted child actor and was superb in such classic films as The Grapes of Wrath and Leave Her to Heaven. Nevertheless, he was consistently undervalued because in the eyes of the "Hollywood powers that were" he was deemed not to have "star quality". It's remarkable that he remained so grounded and went on to have such a distinguished and long lasting, varied career.

Withers throughout the program was irrepressible and a delight to watch. O'Brien and Moore also contributed many interesting stories about their lives growing up in show business. Osborne was indeed a masterful interviewer.
