He tries to cope with this and other strains on his psyche with the help of his sisters. That is until his new psychiatrist arrives and tells him he doesn't have any sisters. Or does he? Between Panic and Desire by Bear Kosik and directed by Dennis Corsi will run at The Players Theatre August 12-29, 2021, Thursday through Saturday (7pm) and Sunday (3pm). Starring Jahlil Hall, Megan Grace Martinez, Reina Rouzaud, and Courtney Dease. He has (co)authored four novels and a book on democracy that explains how he predicted Donald Trump's victory over a year before the election. His short fiction, poetry, photo art, and essays have been published by Third Flatiron Press, River & South Review, Calliope, Windmill (Hofstra University), Weasel Press, opednews.com, and others. His company, bearly designed llc, produces plays, publishes books, and creates note cards. Dennis Corsi is a director specializing in new work development and queer work. As a certified health & wellness coach, he fosters rehearsal rooms that prioritize well-being. His directing style is fast-paced and bold. Transitions are rehearsed as much as the rest of the play. His casting always prioritizes diversity and inclusion. Dennis is the Artistic Director of the Fresh Fruit Festival, which develops and presents theatre by queer artists. He is the Director of New Works at Live & In Color, a creative incubator developing new plays and musicals celebrating diversity.
