| Just so you know, I'm a musical director - I've worked in professional theatre for many years. So believe me, I know everything that is supposed to be happening before the house opens. And, as you said, "the crew will need every minute of that hour before half to fix the problem, make sure the actors are safe, the audience gets the show they paid for, and on time." So I come back to my original question - if "half hour" has to happen earlier, and "every minute of that hour before half" is needed, why wouldn't the crew call time be pushed back also???? (Your opinion that early house openings won't happen is NOT an answer to the question.) |
