That's a pretty definitive statement, in my opinion. 95% of the time, IATSE work is done in 20 minutes, in MY "experience [of] some not-insignificant number of shows", which, again. number in the literal thousands.

You and I both agree that opening the house earlier is unnecessary, so I'm not even sure why this is a discussion. We are talking about highly unlikely hypotheticals...and now I'm reminded why I seldom post, and will return to lurking.
