As a longtime social democrat, I think it is a big oversimplification to say that the rise in ticket prices is due primarily to late-stage capitalism. A bunch of factors are involved, and I would say that most of them have nothing to do with late-stage capitalism. Nor do I believe that the rise in ticket prices has anything to do with greedy unions, as some here believe.
