| The easier answer is with most musicals just sit back and try and enjoy. I saw a well cast, well directed The Music Man with a black Marion. Her mother and brother were white. After the first few minutes of her performance, which was lovely, I stopped noticing or caring. Ok, there are a few musicals that demand more intellectual involvement, but they are few and far between. |
