Saw this and thought she was quite compelling. Didn't have the charisma of Streisand, yet I remember thinking how hard of role it is, with all the costume changes and being on stage for 80-90% of the show. I wish them luck with the revival, yet I think it is a difficult show to revive.
The book is just okay and some of Bob Merrill's lyrics are painful to listen to. That said--still one of the best overtures!
