As opposed to the former "Papermill Theatre" in New Hampshire, which is now, thankfully, "Jean's Playhouse."
I still remember casting someone for a show off a video and a resume (before that was as popular as it is now), with the director glancing at his resume and saying, "look - he's worked at Paper Mill - I think that's certainly in his favor." Problem is, he didn't work at the very prestigious "Paper Mill" in New Jersey, but the much less known "Papermill" in Lincoln New Hampshire - which was the first time I realized there were two "paper mill" theatres. :-)
(He did turn out to be wonderful as cast, though, thank god.) |
