In 2017 a concert was staged with Yazbeck at David Geffen Hall and Osnes was in that. It was billed as a concert, but as you can see in the clip, there was A LOT of dancing. They did cut most of the stage combat.
Yazbeck was exceptional in it and the supporting cast was excellent. I hope he gets to revive it with a more cooperative leading lady.
The night I saw it, the audience was very very enthusiastic and pretty starry - I sat in front of Fed Ebb and across the aisle from Mel Brooks.
